Power and Participation Research Centre (PPRC) on behalf of Healthy Bangladesh in partnership with the Chittagong Research Institute for Child Surgery (CRICS), organized a 2-day child surgery service for deprived children and a separate health dialogue with a new stakeholder, namely religious leaders  in Bera, Pabna on 25-26 February,2018.The event was held in Bera Upazila Health Complex. A 17-member team led by Healthy Bangladesh convener Hossain Zillur Rahman including an 8-member surgical team led by Professor Tahmina Banu, Director, CRICS conducted the event. Md. Abdul Baten, Mayor, Bera Municipality and Dr. Ayub of Bera Upazila health complex led the local host team.
